Rain & Lucky Academy of Dance began in the Fairfield Community Room in February 2016 by “Miss” Rain Francis. After a career of performing, choreographing and teaching around the world, Miss Rain had a dream to create a school that offered the highest quality ballet training, but with a community-focused approach. A place of magic and inspiration, which would become a second home for its students, and would empower them to achieve their own dreams.

Just two years later, Rain & Lucky Academy of Dance began building its first “own home”, with two beautiful studios at 2/299 Arthur St, Fairfield. And three years after that, it took on its second location, with three stunning studios over two floors, at 444 High St, Preston.

Rain & Lucky students consistently receive top results in their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet exams, and successfully audition for various youth production companies. Our students have gone on to train with the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (Melbourne) and Ballet Academy East (New York).
