By enrolling yourself (in the case of adult students) or your child (in the case of students under 18 years of age) at Rain & Lucky Academy of Dance (R&L) classes you (as the adult student, or the child student’s parent or guardian) acknowledge that you have read, agree to abide by, and (where the context requires) consent to, all of the terms, conditions, codes and policies referred to below.

Rain & Lucky Academy of Dance is deeply dedicated to ensuring the safety and protection of all children and young people. We strictly adhere to the National Principles of Child Safety and the Victorian Child Safe Standards. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy on child exploitation and abuse.

Child safety and wellbeing are integrated into the leadership, governance, and culture of the Academy through ongoing practice and training. We ensure that children and young people in our care are aware of their rights and participate in decisions affecting them. Furthermore, we actively promote child safety to our families, supporters, contractors, volunteers, and visitors.

We all share a commitment to protecting the well-being of children and young people. We recognise how important it is to work together to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing space. This environment is designed to respect and boost children and young people’s self-worth and self-esteem, helping them thrive academically and personally.

Rain & Lucky Academy is located on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri, Woi-wurrung people, and we recognise the Traditional Owners of Country across Victoria. We pay our respects to Elders, children, and young people of past, present, and future generations. Rain & Lucky Academy of Dance also honours the significant role of Aboriginal people and culture.

Rain & Lucky Handbook

A comprehensive digital ‘Handbook’ is provided to all students/families upon enrolment at Rain & Lucky Academy of Dance. This contains further information regarding the structure and expectations associated with enrolment at Rain & Lucky, and forms part of these Terms, Conditions & Policies. 

Failure to Comply With These Terms, Conditions & Policies

In the event of any failure to comply with any of the terms, conditions, codes or policies referred to on this page, Rain & Lucky reserves the right to cancel the student’s enrolment and in this situation any fees paid or payable will not be refunded.
