Payment Policies

Fees are all-inclusive and can either be paid upfront for the full year (attracting a 10% discount), or by a monthly payment plan (direct debit).

The monthly direct debit is charged on the 1st of each month, from February to December. The fee is the same flat rate, regardless of the number of weeks in the month. This includes school holidays, since the payment plan is averaged out over the full year.

All fees are non-refundable.

All-inclusive fees include: weekly classes, end of year costumes, enrolment fee, concert rehearsal fee, concert videos, Achievement Book, Presentation Day medal and certificate, insurance, GST, music licensing and so on.

Not included: uniform for your chosen class(es), RAD assessment costs (optional). 

You may enrol at any time (provided there is space available in your chosen class), however if enrolling in Term 3 or 4, a one-off late-start admin fee of $70 (in Term 3) or $100 (in Term 4) will be charged, to cover the backordering of concert costumes, concert videos and rehearsal fees, which are usually paid off over the full year. This does not apply to Level 1 students or adults. The late-start admin fee is per one weekly class – for example, if enrolling in two classes, it’s $140 (Term 3) or $200 (Term 4).

Direct Debits continue for the remainder of the calendar year, until otherwise advised in writing to hello@rainandlucky.com.

You may cancel your enrolment or drop a class at any time by giving Rain & Lucky written (email) notice by the 10th of the month. If notice is received after the 10th, the next month’s tuition will be charged for.

Additional classes may be added at any time, subject to availability.

If a payment bounces multiple times, late fees may be charged. Continued failed payments may result in the student being unable to take class. 

If we are unable to run in-person classes due to covid-19 or any situation outside our control, we immediately revert to our online learning model. No refunds or credits are given in this situation but you may choose to cancel your enrolment.

No refunds are given for classes missed. A maximum of two make-up classes may be taken in the same term, subject to availability – these do not roll over to the next term.

You may update your card and account details at any time through our secure online portal.
