CONCERT & PHOTO DAY
Arrival Time: 2:00pm
Show Time: 4:30m
End: 5:30pm approx

Reminders:

  • Come dressed in your costume with hair done (make-up is optional). If your child is in multiple classes, please come ready in their first costume (ask us if you need).
  • Costumes will be provided in class in the weeks before the concert, and are yours to keep!
  • Please pack a non-messy snack for your child to eat in their break between rehearsal and performance (no nuts please). Bring a named water bottle.
  • Dancers will practice their routine on stage, then have their photo taken (group and individual). In between they will be entertained and cared for by group leaders.
  • Younger classes will have a helper to follow on stage, so they do not need to worry about forgetting any choreography!
  • As part of our Child Safe Policies, parents/guardians are not permitted to stay on site. Kiss and drop – thank you.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to view and purchase the photos directly from the photographer, if you wish.

Hair

Female ballet students: Tidy ballet bun with pins, hairnet and lots of spray/gel. Here’s a bun tutorial.

Female non-ballet students: Tidy high ponytail with lots of spray/gel

Boys, or anyone with very short hair: Tidy hair

Make-up

Make-up is not necessary, but optional. We recommend not applying lipstick before drop-off, just pack it in your child’s bag and they can ask a teacher to apply it before the performance.

Tights, shoes, body stockings

Ballet tights are required for all female ballet students.

Tan tights for all other styles, including Acro.

Dance shoes relevant to your dance style. No shoes for Acro. Black runners for Hip Hop.

A body stocking is required if a student has more than one costume; this allows them to change backstage.

Sign-in/Sign-out

Students will be signed in in the morning and signed out after the performance. They will be fully supervised for the duration. For child safety and ease of operations, parents do not stay on site. We kindly ask that you “kiss and drop” and let our expert staff do what we do best.

Concert Tickets

Tickets will be available to purchase on October 21st.

Performing dancers do not require a ticket.
Siblings under the age of 5 don’t require a ticket as long as they’re seated on a lap.
If you have family members who require an accessible seat, please email us.

Practice Videos

We’ll soon send you a video of the concert routine, so you can practice with your little one at home.

Here is the music.

We hope this helps your dancer feel extra confident and ready for the big day.

Thank you for your support in making this a special day for all our dancers. If you have questions, we’re here to help.

We look forward to seeing you at the concert!
