The Rain & Lucky Story
Rain & Lucky was founded by our very own Miss Rain, after years of performing, choreographing, and teaching around the world. Miss Rain had a dream to create a dance studio with the highest quality ballet training, and a community-focused approach. A place which would become a second home for its students, and empower them to achieve their dreams.
In 2018, we opened our Fairfield studio, and three years, our second location at 444 High St, Preston. We have classes for all ages at both studios; from 18 months to 18 years and beyond!
Rain & Lucky students consistently receive top results in their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet exams, and successfully audition for various youth production companies. Our students have gone on to train with the prestigious Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (Melbourne), the National Ballet School (Melbourne) and Ballet Academy East (New York).

Across our two locations, we now have five beautiful, spacious, light-filled studios with sprung dance floors, Tarkett, mirrors, and barres. Our Preston studio includes a spacious Student Lounge and an extensive Costume Wardrobe. Parents can make a cup of tea and relax in our waiting areas – or simply ‘kiss and drop’ if you prefer. Both locations have security code doors for student safety. Our dance studios are located at:
